Art Director

Conscious Corner is a series of eco-conscious stores. I started with a part-time designer and built an entire marketing and graphics department while serving as Director of Art and Marketing, establishing a consistent brand across all platforms, and building an advertising program. I designed all marketing and advertising including print, web, and radio advertising, and established an in-store sales program that increased sales by over $50,000 per month, per location, across 11 locations.

Building a Department

Starting from scratch.

When I started at Conscious Corner, there was one part-time graphic designer, working 12 hours a week, and no advertising budget. 

I built a team of 5 full-time designers, in-house large-format print production, and an advertising budget of $50,000 per quarter, all through justifying expenses by proven revenue increases.

Internal Programs

Established an Employee Favorites program to promote select products.

Designed and implemented an internal sales program at all retail stores, increasing sales by $50,000 per location upon launch.

Built an intranet based sign printing template to allow for easier, brand consistent printing of signs by all staff and management.

 

 Advertising

Utilized strategic advertising tactics to increase traffic and revenue with a minimul budget, later justifying an increased marketing budget.

Team Management

Hired on and trained a team of designers to increase quality of brand and presence.
